Sydney's Big Day Out was all it was expected to be.....hot, crazy and EPIC!
Here's a quick recount of my day :

Location: Olympic Park, Sydney
Weather : Hot : 37 degrees Celcius
11am The Naked & Famous
Kiwis sounding fresh and jubilant.
Highlight : Young Blood
11.40am Operator Please
Fresh aussie kids, just getting better.
Hightlight : Leave it alone, Back and forth, Ping Pong (remix), Milkshake (Kelis cover)
12.20pm Little Red
A mix of rock, pop, disco electro.
Highlight: Rock It
1pm Kids of 88
More quality kiwi kicks.
2pm Washington
Think quirky aussie chick, same with the music.
2.30pm CSS
Only 15 minutes here for this awesome girl group, shame really 'cause they really rocked it!
3pm Lupe Fiasco
A crowd pleaser, definitely knew how to get the crowd going, good live act.
3.50pm Gyroscope
Killed it with both older hits and the fairly recent What Do I Know About Pain.
4pm to 5pm

Huge crowd, and Big Jet Plane was blissful

Birds of Tokyo ...Plans ..amazing

Bloody fantastic, Crowd was absolutely pussy whipped, Warp was insane!
Now for the major ones :
8pm SIA
Finally the sun was setting and the lightest of lightest shower was falling, making the atmosphere just blissful.
Sia was cute, and cheeky, playing a wonderful set including the huge older hit Breathe Me, and the wonderful Madonna cover Oh Father.
Highlight : Cloud, You've Changed, Clap Your Hands
9pm LCD Soundsystem
A little disappointing, but maybe because I missed Someone Great, and didn't know most tracks. But was nice to see them live!
10pm Tool
Just to see 'em before MIA was on. Interesting, and passionate hard rokcers!
10.45pm M.I.A
Huge build up, Illy girl went nuts, the crowd was loving it. SHE THREW OUT TO THE CROWD VICKI LEEKS CDS AND I GOT ONE DIRECT FROM MIA'S HANDS!!!
Highlight: Born Free, and the closer Paper Planes!
