1. Dancing On My Own - Robyn
Taking a 2nd week at the top. Its a bit of a lull here so being #1 for a second week is lucky. The chart is weak atm so yeah, good on Robyn.
2. Fire With Fire - Scissor Sisters
Also 2nd week at #2 for the sisters. Great track if somewhat unoriginal. There are definite highlights in the song, thus the #2 is deserved. "Skin Tight/Sex and Violence" are the two big winning tracks on the album for me..single release me hopes!
3.Woohoo - Christina Aguilera
If only the world was Chrissy happy rather than what it is now spitting her out like she is out of fashion. To me NMT and Woohoo are way better than Dirrty ever was!
5.Californian Gurls - Katy Perry / Snoop Dogg
Yes that spelling is ridiculous, but the song is perfect pop. Can't get this one outta my head, and that video sugary sex or what!
13. My First Kiss - Kesha / 3OH!3
Highest new entry, goes to this pair who have basically made part 2 of the hit they did with Katy Perry earlier. Cute but forgettable.
17. If I Had You - Adam Lambert
The first minute of this song is amazing, then the chorus lets it down with that American rock sound i just dont think works. Still another fine effort from an interesting artist.
18. We Speak No Americano - Yolanda Be Cool / DCUP
Aussie nonetheless, but initially i didn't really get it. But it does have linger in your head potential, a deserved international hit.
19. I Like It - Enrique Iglesias
The Pitbul thing ruins an already average song. This is weak to me, Enrique is no stranger to my chart, and usually at the other end. But I must say this is not one of his best i.m.o. And typically it becomes a big hit here, currently #2 on Oz charts, and yet the wonderful Ping Pong Song a huge #1 here, couldnt make the OZ Top 50. Go figure.
20. Not Afraid - Eminem
He's back. I have a real love /hate relationship with M&M, going from his first 2 awesome albums to big meh, this is o.k, less rap more singing is well impressive.
