oh gosh so many good albums! I did love Confessions on a dance floor, and i really liked Love Angel Music Baby (when everyone thought Gwen would be the next Madonna, only we had to wait for Lady Cuckoo to come along instead!!)

Where do I start?! Great list, some real flashbacks like Craig David and Jewel.

Have to admit, I haven't really been into Madonna since Bedtime Stories. Still think she puts out great singles but haven't bought one of her albums since then.

Great picks with Gaga, Coldplay, Kylie, Robbie, Green Day, Eskimo Joe, Gwen, Pink, Scisssor Sisters and Lily. I don't know some of the stuff you have in the list but I'm sure it's excellent! :)

Of course, you missed one of the greatest albums ever, My Chemical Romance - Welcome to the Black Parade! (Even Rolling Stone says so!)

As well as that, in my top 100 list I would have (in no particular order)
Silverchair - Diorama
Love - The Beatles (Cirque du Soleil)
Eminem - The Eminem Show
Kelly Clarkson - Breakaway
The Killers - Sam's Town
Eskimo Joe - A Song is a City
End of Fashion - End of Fashion
Little Birdy - Big Big Love
Missy Higgins - The Sound of White
Pink - Funhouse
Lady Gaga - The Fame+Monster
Robbie Williams - Sing+Swing When You're Winning
Bob Evans - Suburban Songbook
The Dissociatives - The Dissociatives
On and On - Jack Johnson
Moulin Rouge Soundtrack
Bridget Jones' Diary Soundtrack
Tea and Sympathy - Bernard Fanning
Thirsty Merc - Thirsty Merc
Katy Perry - One of the Boys
Lily Allen - It's Not Me, It's You
Lior - Autumn Flow

I've based my list on what albums I know all the lyrics for cause that definitely means they have been on heavy rotation!

Go Madonna! Great to see her at #1. So you like Frank better than Back to Black? That's interesting, and I'd like to hear why. And who's Apocalypso? I've not heard of them. Great list.

Paul - Yeah Gwen was the Madonna of 2005, but Gaga is in another league, i think..

KSP - before i start i just heard and seen the video to MCR "I'm Not Ok (I Promise)" and was very impressed, so one for you!!
In yours Diorama, A Song is a City, Dissociatives, Autumn Flow would also make my Top 100,(as long as they are 2000's releases!)

Glamboy- YES! Madonna is the Goddess fullstop.:)

ww_adh- Yes to Madonna, I think "Frank" has more variety, and youthful, in saying that Back to Black is also just faultless!
Oh the artsit is actually The Presets, and the album is called "Apocalypso" it was in hig rotation for me throughout May to November 2008, then again in 2009 when i saw them live and that gig would rank in my top 5 best ever concerts!! Check it out especially the single "This Boy's In Love"

Yep, they all fit in the '00's criteria - I made sure about that after my '09's singles faux pas!
I'm Not Okay is awesome! I've listened to that song over a hundred times, it's great. You have to give The Black Parade a go, heaps of epic songs.
